Baltimore Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee

The Baltimore Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee (JATC) is sponsored by the IBEW Local 24 and the Maryland Chapter of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) to ensure each apprentice will be trained and prepared for meaningful and rewarding careers as union electricians.

As the first registered trade program in the state of Maryland, Baltimore Electrical JATC has over half a century of experience and has trained more than 2500 apprentices to date.

Our Training Facility

The JATC is headquartered out of our state-of-the-art facility located at 2699 West Patapsco Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21230. The facility is equipped with Hands-on lab spaces.

Our Curriculum

The JATC is proud to provide Baltimore-area residents with the skills and training to build a meaningful career through our electrical apprenticeship program. The five-year program includes both in-person coursework and on-the-job training with a certified NECA contractor for a well-rounded introduction to the trade.
