CORE Curriculum Coming Soon

The Baltimore Electrical Training Center will be implementing the new CORE curriculum in September of 2010. The curriculum is designed to give the apprentice a good over all base to build on as they progress through the apprenticeship. The subject matter covered in the first and second years will be the same in all NJATC apprenticeships throughout the United States. The CORE also increases the use of hands on training with labs designed for the subjects covered each class. After two years of study the CORE allows for more advanced areas of study that cover specific tasks and technologies needed for each JATC's region. It emphasizes the area of expertise needed in that area whether it is conduit bending, industrial applications, health care facilities, or low voltage. More information is coming as we embark on this new and exciting path of Electrical Apprenticeship.
